ABOUT SPOOF! ACADEMY

Spoof Media Ltd are an excellence oriented Media/Animation studio driven by a talent rich creative team dedicated to making world class animation contents, for this reason, Spoof animation has since its inception created internship and training opportunities for young talented artists to intern at the Spoof animation studio for free and gain hands-on experience with real life projects.

Through the internship program, several young talents (interns) have been retained as staff within the company and have gone on to achieve a remarkable level of excellence and creativity in their work.

With so many calls from young aspiring artist and animators inquiring about the tricks of the game, SPOOF finally launches its academy to pass on the knowledge from veteran animators and artists who are currently at the top of their game. Spoof academy not only teaches the theory, but the very important practical aspect that will make any creative survive in a real world situation.

Ayodele Elegba, fondly known as the Dreammaker among Nigeria’s comic/animation industry insiders is a seasoned veteran in the Nigerian comic and animation industry.

He began his comic career as a writer in 1999 in the Nigerian TV and movie industry and has since gone on to create many of the successful comic titles and characters like Strikeguard, Vantage, Boxsa, Jinx, Central Attack, Voyager and so on in Nigeria as well as producing and directing of various short film animations such as HeroCorps, Lost Dreams, Strikeguard, Voyager and many more. He has also been the brains (both producer and directing of production) of several television animated series such as When I Grow Up, Area Daddy, and Roli Tales Animation

AKUGBE Osas Bright

currently serves as the Creative director of Spoof Animation Ltd. As a concept artist, illustrator and digital painter, he has created concepts which animator or lead artists use as a guide to work on projects.

His focus as a Concept Artist has been placed on being adaptable to different aesthetic styles, while always adding visual interest to his designs. Whether its characters or environment art, Osas aims to elevate each project he works on by employing imagination and attention to detail to produce a quality product.

Osasuwa Akugbe brings with him a wealth of ideas and experience and as one of his favorite lingo goes “There's a way to do things”, he aims to teach students how to create compelling art and concepts as well as shape a mindset of excellence

omoTuyi ekes Ebhota

is an Illustrator and Concept Artist who has worked in the comic and animation industry for several years now.

Having carved an impressive career as a lead animator at Spoof Animation, Tuyi's creative versatility spans across film, TV, animation, comics, video games and even costume design. Working at Spoof studios has made him handle and interact with international projects where he bring his versatility into play.

By relying on his experience, he aims to provide students with an inside look at how to achieve industry level standards in their own illustration/concept art portfolio.

Collins Kevin MOMODU

Is the Animation Director of Spoof Animation and was director for the popular short film HEROCORP. He began his journey as a comic book artist before moving on to animation where his illustration prowess can be seen in every frame he draws. He brings a lot of experince from working on international projects and the animation industry where he has worked for a few years.

Having carved an impressive career as a lead animator at Spoof Animation, Collins aims to bring excellence to each project he works on by being deliberate in the execution of each frame that he works on.

By relying on his experience, he aims to provide students with an inside look at how to achieve industry level standards in their own animation projects.
